I never used to be a huge fan of curry, but as an adult it has become one of my favorite things to eat and experiment with in the kitchen. Try these chicken burgers as an alternative traditional beef burgers. The curry brightens up the flavor and the spinach gets you a few servings of veggies.
What you need:
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp seasoning salt
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 cup fresh spinach (chopped or whole)
- 1/4 cup water
What you do:
- Mix all the ingredients together
- Heat pan on medium heat
- Make your patties and drop them in (I get 3 patties with 1 lb, but you can adjust to your preferred size)
- Add half of your water to the pan
- Cook about 7 minutes per side (adding more water) until browned and cooked through
- Pour your juices over the burger after you plate it or add it to your bun
I hope you love this as much as I did.
Love ya!

When there are too many ingredients in a recipe I stay away but this one has just enough to not be complicated. I look forward to trying this! Great Share!

Oh man, I love all these things: chicken curry, spinach, and burgers 🙂 My husband is not the biggest curry fan but maybe he’d be into this!

Curry everything for me! I’m a vegetarian but I’ve done something similar with chickpeas!
