Pecan Cinnamon Rolls

I found another use for all those pecans! I needed a quick dish to bring to my small group bible study. Pecans to the rescue!

I found a recipe online and totally botched it. It was late when I was making these and once I put them in the oven I realized I completely screwed up the recipe. God must have been looking out for me because they ended up being so delicious so I figured I’d share. Enjoy!

Pecan Cinnamon Roll

What you need:

Rolls

  • 1 can Pillsbury crescent roll sheets

Filling

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 2/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/3 cup milk

What you do:

  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Mix your filling and spread over the rolled sheet
  3. Roll into a log length wise and press closed
  4. Cut the log into 1-2 inch rolls depending on how big you want your rolls to be
  5. Arrange the rolls in a buttered or oiled baking dish
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown
  7. Mix glaze ingredients together
  8. Drizzle over the rolls as soon as they come out of the oven
  9. Serve warm

I doubled the recipe and I also made extra glaze so my rolls can soak in them.
